“I had my Ultherapy carried out by Monika. From the start I felt completely comfortable and trusted her professionalism as she talked me through the treatment.
She's a real perfectionist and a lovely reassuring person. Her care and attention to detail is excellent.”

Ultherapy uses ultrasound energy to stimulate the collagen building process in the skin, resulting in a gradual lift over 2-3 months with the optimal results normally being seen around the 6th month.
Lasers on the other hand, rely on light energy which normally only treat superficial skin (around 1mm in depth) and are not FDA cleared or CE mark certified to lift the sagging skin. Lasers often result in downtime after a procedure. On the other hand, Ultherapy bypasses the skin's surface resulting in minimal downtime.
Ultherapy is the only aesthetic procedure that uses micro focused ultrasound treatment imaging and visualisation to target the deep structural layers of the skin tissue without disrupting the skins surface. Ultherapy stimulates the production of new collagen and elastin resulting in a gradual lifting effect.
Most people are suitable for treatment but the key demographic would be those aged between 30 and 60 with good quality skin. A candidate is in fact not determined by age but by skin quality with a good candidate having mild to moderate skin laxity where the skin begins to look and feel less firm. Contraindications, would include those who have a cardiac pacemaker or other active implants, certain skin conditions and who have recently had fillers.
Ultherapy will not duplicate the results of a facelift but is nonetheless a great option for those who do not want surgery. The non invasive treatment is CE-certified for non-surgical lifting of the skin on the upper and lower face, neck and décolletage areas.
Ultherapy has a minimal downtime so most people after their procedure can resume their normal activities. Potential side effects include redness for a few hours or slight swelling for a few days.
With Ultherapy generally only one treatment a year is required to maintain optimal natural collagen and elastin banking with visual benefits starting around the 3rd to 4th month and peaking around the 6th month. Thereafter, the treatment benefits can be maintained with annual top up treatments.
Ultherapy has multiple treatment areas including:
Upper & Lower Face
The décolletage area
All Ultherapy treatments will be carried out by certified UK qualified and trained aesthetic nurses.
There is no to little downtime with most patients being able to continue their day immediately after treatment.
Ultherapy treatments improve over time and can last for over a year with optimal results becoming apparent after around 6 months.
This depends on the areas being treated but as a rough guide Retriva Health prices start at £1,550.00 up to around £3,250.00 for a full face and neck treatment.
Ultherapy is one of the least invasive non-surgical skin lifting procedures with virtually all patients being able to continue their day without immediately after treatment.
Ultherapy is extremely safe with customised treatment using DeepSEE visualisation technology. In fact, MFU-V Ultherapy is one of the safest non-invasive skin tightening and sculpting treatments available and endorsed by both the US Food & Drugs Administration (FDA) and EU CE.
